Attitude of Delhi-ites/Indians?

The other day, I was driving my bike near Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

We had to turn left, which was a free-left turn but unfortunately there was a kid stuck there with his ice-cream/kulfi/ice-water cart. I am sure delhi-ites can picture the cart.

There were two, three cars behind that kid and the driver was constantly honking at this poor fella. The kid tries to move the cart but in vain, and he turns back and tells them that the cart is stuck.

The irony is that they just sat inside their A/C Cars and could hear nothing, and no one bothered to help that kid

Then, I passed over these cars, parked my bike and helped the kid to get his cart out of the hole and then took my bike and left the scene.

Well other way of looking at this is that just because I had a bike, I can park it on the corner of the road and help this guy, but still instead of these guys sitting inside the car and wasting time in honking, they could have just got out and helped this kid

This incident keeps reverberating on my mind and tells me that somewhere we need to change our attitude and start thinking…

Date with ASIMO

I had been to a HONDA conference and they took us in the evening to the HONDA exhibition in Pragati Maidan.
