Direction and Songs are good but somehow I did not like the climax scene when Jo asks Surya to spend a day with Bhooms.

Even Jo had thought of having a luv marriage and not an arranged marriage. What would happen, if Surya asks her to go and luv somebody else for 1 day and comeback? Very funny right.

A.R Rahman rocks once again. My favourite song – NewYork Nagaram…sung by A.R Rahman.

Hope Jo does not say the same after their real marriage :)

  3. Sara…I too don’t like movie, but reason is different!. It’s b’coz, Surya missed a chance, once in a life which is officially approved by his commanding authority

    Hmm…for your second comment, do remember theoram works always but its corollay most of the times doen’t works.

  5. Other word means chillness ;) jillunu – chilling/cooling …literal translation means “jillunu oru kaadhal” = “one chilling love” ;)

    my opinion about jillinu oru kadhal ,
    JOK is story wise a worst movie.
    movies usually have a large impact on people’s thinking and their lives . In this movie , surya loves bhoomika and then with such a silly reason , he marries joythika , Any true person who really loves will never give his/her love for the sake of anything in the world . I think mr director sir has dmaged the entire concept of love and that too by making two popular artist staaring in this , he has given a completely wrong message to the public .
    how any good movies like minale , and lot other movies where the hero strive to get united with their lover , has literally changed many peoples lives . THe movie is really colourful with surya and joythika ,with a very dagerous message to the public , love anyone and marry some one . I think the director better understand the importance of giving better story to the public rather than giving such a colourful idiotic story. But surya and joythika are always the best pair.

  7. @Divya, well you say such a silly reason…the silly reason was that his grandfather was dying and his last request was to marry this gal and he had to oblige that….this is reason why he got married to jothika and after that never looked back.

    u talked abt minnale, that is a proper cheating that madhavan did to get into reema sen’s heart. infact this movie gave a wrong message that you can do anything to win a girl’s heart… ;)

    Bhoom’s left him without even trying to contact him, yeah she goes to australia for studies or whatever, but if only she had still luv-d surya, she could have always tried to meet him or get in touch with him, which she didnt do…

    you expect guys to keep on waiting for their love, hoping to come back? well, i guess you need to get real :) gone are the days where the guy grows beard, gets drunk and keep waiting for his love…

    nowadays, nobody does that, true love lost long ago…the world we are living is a material/practical world :) )

    you mistook the message “love anyone, dont keep waiting for the lost love, marry some one, and finally forget your lost/last love”…this is the message :)
